São José do Jaguaré Community Strengthens Unity and Pastoral Participation

The Triduum of Bom Jesus, the launch of the Welcoming Ministry, and the Spring Dance brought parishioners together for moments of prayer, service, fellowship, and collaboration in parish life

Over the past few months, São José do Jaguaré Parish has experienced several moments that strengthened faith, fellowship, and community participation. These initiatives included the Triduum of Bom Jesus, the launch of the Welcoming Ministry, and the Spring Dance, held to benefit the parish.

In August, the Bom Jesus Community celebrated its triduum with moments of prayer and worship. The program included Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Mass. On the third day, the Santa Luzia Community joined the faithful for the recitation of the Holy Rosary and the Eucharistic celebration, which featured the image of Bom Jesus dos Milagres.

On September 27, during the celebration of the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time, the parish launched the Welcoming Ministry, commissioning its members. Organized with the support of the Family Ministry, the celebration also included the drawing for the Pilgrim Image of the Holy Family and the renewal of marriage vows by Carlos Kike and Vanessa, celebrating 35 years of marriage, and Marli and Silvio, celebrating 29 years.

Later in September, the Spring Dance brought the community together for an evening of fellowship and solidarity, with proceeds dedicated to improvements at the parish. Volunteers contributed to the event’s organization, decoration, preparations, promotion, and sales, while parishioners also supported the initiative through donations and participation. These activities demonstrate the strength of collaboration among the communities and each person’s commitment to the life and mission of São José do Jaguaré Parish.
