Our Lady Help of Christians Parish celebrates its patron saint and two years since its founding with a special program

Community mobilizes in preparation for a celebration that unites faith, memory, and gratitude

In recent months, the Our Lady Help of Christians Parish has been undergoing an intense period of preparation for the festival in honor of its patron saint, which this year takes on an even more special significance: on May 24, the parish celebrates its second anniversary. With the theme “Our Lady Help of Christians, Mother of Charity,” the program will feature novenas and special evenings, bringing the community together in moments of faith, celebration, and thanksgiving for another year of journey. The entire community has been actively involved in the preparations, joyfully contributing to the realization of this great festival dedicated to Our Lady Help of Christians.

As a way to honor the history and strengthen the community’s identity, the Pastoral Communication Ministry is also producing a documentary that traces the parish’s history, dating back to when it was still a chapel—now known as the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The initiative will gather testimonies from who will share their experiences and memories, highlighting the community’s growth in faith, unity, and service over the years.
