The beginning of 2026 at Dom Amando School was marked by a series of initiatives that highlight the institution’s commitment to the holistic education of its students. Among the highlights, the scavenger hunt celebrating the school’s 83rd anniversary mobilized the entire school community in a great wave of solidarity, resulting in the collection of 136 food baskets, reinforcing the students’ spirit of fraternity and social engagement.
In line with this educational commitment, the school launched the 2026 Fraternity Campaign, with a moment of reflection focused on the theme of decent housing, encouraging students to think about social justice, solidarity, and collective responsibility in the face of society’s challenges.
The spiritual dimension was also strongly present in the activities during this period. The celebration in honor of St. Joseph, patron saint of the Brothers of Holy Cross, brought together students, educators, and families in a moment of faith and gratitude for the institution’s anniversary and the opening of catechetical activities. The community also participated deeply in Holy Week celebrations, with moments of prayer and spirituality that invited reflection on the meaning of Easter and Christian life.
In this way, Dom Amando School continues to strengthen its educational mission by integrating knowledge, human values, and spirituality into its practices. The initiatives of this period highlight an education that prepares students not only for knowledge, but also for life, cultivating in each student a commitment to the common good, faith, and the building of a just and compassionate society.
