Notre Dame School organized a series of activities that strengthened the bonds between families, students, staff, and alumni. The program began with the traditional Mother’s Day celebration, which brought the school community together for a moment of prayer, followed by workshops, games, performances, and opportunities for socializing, providing a day of fellowship and sharing.
Another memorable moment was experienced by the 12th-grade students, who participated in a gathering in the school chapel alongside teachers and the Campus Ministry team. On that occasion, they wrote a letter to Pope Leo XIV, sharing—based on their own experiences—the 65-year history of Notre Dame. This gesture expressed gratitude for their time at the school and reinforced the bond between faith and education.
This spirit of gratitude was also evident in the “Bringing Hope” Project, in which 12th-grade students honored staff members from various departments of the institution. The initiative recognized the work of those who contribute daily to school life and to the students’ education, emphasizing that education is a mission shared by the entire school community.
Another highlight was the pre-launch of the Notre Dame Alumni Program, which brought together alumni from different generations for a time of reunions and sharing. The initiative seeks to strengthen relationships with former students through volunteer opportunities, mentoring, events, and networking, deepening the ties between the school and those who are part of its history.
These initiatives reinforce Colégio Notre Dame’s mission to cultivate an educational community united by faith, care for others, and a commitment to a well-rounded education.
