The Santa Cruz Educational Project (PESC), in Paudalho (PE), organized two special activities that strengthened the bonds among program participants, families, educators, and staff: the traditional June Festival and a celebration in honor of Mother’s Day.
The Festa Junina featured music, dancing, games, and traditional foods in an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. In addition to the festivities, the event highlighted Brazilian cultural traditions and reinforced values such as respect, sharing, and community spirit, which are central to the educational mission of the Congregation of Santa Cruz.
The Mother’s Day celebration, meanwhile, featured performances prepared by the program participants, tributes, and a time of prayer and fellowship. The event highlighted the importance of the family in the upbringing of children and adolescents and recognized the role of mothers as a fundamental presence in education and the transmission of values.
Both initiatives reaffirm PESC’s commitment to a holistic education that unites learning, culture, faith, and community, strengthening the bonds between the educational community and families.
